Our surroundings are teeming with abandoned objects. Once discovered, they are hard to un-see. Many of them are driven to different stages of decay before being devoured by nature. How can objects like these, such as the abandoned bus stop in the countryside, be brought back to life with a new everyday purpose?

This series searches for new purposes for those objects that have been lost along the way. An experiment conducted through photography with the idea of investigating the structure of these objects and the context that surrounds them. The initial three series were shot during the summer of 2024 as part of my project for the summer course Fotografiskt Projektarbete at HDK Valand, Göteborg.
